Day One – start weight 141lbs; Goal WEIGHT 120-125lbs

This caught my eye and rocked my world today.

Everything I have ever done in my life has been done to the EXTREME. If I have a hobby I do it ALL THE TIME. My best friend at the time is the ONLY person I hang out with. When I like a song I listen to is 760 times in a row. Diet and fitness are no different. I have struggled with body image issues, the way most women have, since I was like 8. But it wasn’t until 2009 when it became an obsessive detriment to my health. Dating someone who thinks your fat, points out every gym on the block, and scrutinizes every piece of food you put in your mouth has a way of doing that.

I wouldnt binge then throw up purge, but I was binging to the point of physical pain on the weekends then “purging” by working out 4-5 hours and eating 400-600 calories a day on week days. Coffee and diet pills were my best friends. It wasn’t until two women from my church sat me down and shared their concerns with me that I understood my problem. One of them gave me healthy options for implementing more calories in my diet and also limited my working out to once a day, 5 times a week, and I had a full on panic attack thinking of what that would do to my body.

Since then I have been up and down, dieting and exercising to the point of losing 10 pounds in one week, then binging so badly I gain those pounds right back over the weekend. It astonishes people at how quickly I can gain and drop weight. Its unhealthy and simply just not the way I want to continue living my life…. so completely obsessed with the way I look. NEVER being happy with it. I mean no matter when I was 109 pounds in 2010 or the 140 pounds I am now, I have never been happy with the way I look. It is time to get a grip on my life.

This is the beginning of my journey.

Again……. lets hope it is the last beginning.

I found this 90day diet that groups Mon, Wed, Thurs, Sat together with the same meals and the rest of the days together. Its all pretty much the same you would know if you have ever tried to make that healthy lifestyle change. Lots of water, egg whites, chicken, fish, vegetables, fruits, almonds…. But the website is really good so I recommend checking it out.

I typically start my day with a tablespoon fiber for flavor mixed with “Greensuperfood”, I seriously could go on and on about that stuff.

Then I partially followed the meal plan.

I had the half cup oatmeal and 1/2 cup egg whites this morning. 1/2cup oats seemed like an awful lot but I ate it anyhow. I dont want to get cancer either so I drank a ton of green tea for antioxidants….. Lets hope it works! After 2.5 hours I decided to mix myself up some healthy stuff so I mixed in my magic bullet:

  • A handful of spinach
  • 5 strawberries
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 plumb
  • Chug

Not as bad as you would think!! Then had 10 almonds and an apple. Later on I took:

  • 2 broccoli florets and baked them for about an hour at 400degrees.
  • I added 1/2cup of grated parm cheese after 50 min
  • When I took them out I added a littttttttttlllle bit of fresh squeezed lemon and salt.

YUMO! Didnt quite go with the meal plan….but I was never one to follow the rules. 3 hours later I had 1 cup frozen chicken bits I had previously baked, cut up, and froze. I mixed that with 2 tablespoons italian dressing and 1/2 avacado. Annnnd DINNER…..

Seriously look up MMAxout. If you have an area that does this program it will change your life. Today we did about 350 jumping jacks to warm up. Then we did 15 minutes of 6 roundhouse kicks up the floor, 10 punches down the floor, each bag. After we did shadow boxing including jabs, cross punches, hook, upper cuts, attacks, defends, high knees, push ups and sprawls. PHEEEEEEEEEEEEW!!!!!!!!! Then to end 3 minute planks which my Marine Fiance (STUD!!!!) can do 2.45 last time I checked, so try it yourself!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh and this diet requested no alcohol… Ha.ha.ha. With my life as it is…. Ive had 4 orange juice and tequilas….probably wont be good for the diet.
